Terms of Use

1. What Bokk GP is

Bokk GP is a discovery-only directory operated by Pape Diop, an individual based in Dakar, Senegal ("Bokk GP", "we", "us"). We help people find GPs, meaning travelers heading to or from Senegal, and help GPs list trips they are already taking.

Bokk GP does not carry, handle, store, insure or guarantee anything a GP agrees to carry. We are not a party to any arrangement between a sender and a GP, and we do not process payments. There is no in-app messaging: contacting a GP opens WhatsApp, a phone call or an SMS on your own device, and we do not see, store or moderate those conversations.

2. Accounts and your responsibilities

You can browse and search without an account. To post trips as a GP, you must sign in with Google, or with Google or Apple on iOS. Senders may also sign in to sync saved routes and blocked GPs across devices.

You agree to use Bokk GP lawfully, give accurate information in your profile and listings, and treat other users with respect. You are responsible for everything you post, including trip details, profile information and photos.

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting it, you allow Bokk GP to store, display and share it within the app and on our website so the service can work. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep under section 8 of the Privacy Policy.

3. Customs and legal compliance

Any item carried on a GP's trip is subject to the customs, import and export laws of the origin and destination countries. Checking and following those rules is entirely the responsibility of the sender and the GP. Bokk GP does not review, clear or guarantee compliance for any item.

4. Prohibited items

Whatever local law allows, you may not use Bokk GP to arrange carrying:

• illegal drugs or controlled substances;
• weapons, firearms, ammunition or explosives;
• counterfeit or stolen goods;
• hazardous, flammable or toxic materials;
• live animals;
• cash or financial instruments beyond what the law allows a traveler to carry;
• any item that either country's customs rules prohibit or restrict.

5. GP contact information

A GP's WhatsApp number and optional phone number are entered by the GP and shown publicly on their profile by their choice. Bokk GP checks the number's format but does not verify that it belongs to the GP. GPs must keep this information accurate and reachable, and confirm their consent to public contact each time they add or change it.

6. Zero tolerance for abuse

Bokk GP has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. This includes scams, harassment, hate speech, fraud, and sexually explicit or otherwise inappropriate content. We may remove content that breaks these Terms, and suspend or permanently ban the account responsible, without notice.

To limit abuse, we apply limits on how often trips can be posted and reports submitted.

7. Reporting and blocking

Any user can report a trip or a GP, or block a GP so their listings no longer appear for that user. We review reports. Submitting a report does not automatically remove the reported content, and blocking does not notify the blocked GP.

8. Limitation of liability

Bokk GP is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee the identity, reliability or conduct of any user. We are not liable for any loss, damage, dispute or customs issue arising from an arrangement between a sender and a GP, to the extent the law allows.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country. Never send money in advance to someone you do not know, and always use your own judgment.

9. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to Bokk GP if you break these Terms. You may stop using Bokk GP at any time and delete your account from Settings → Delete account, or through our account deletion page.

10. Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use Bokk GP.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. After a material change, signed-in users must accept the new Terms in the app before using GP features. Continuing to use Bokk GP after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Senegal. If you live outside Senegal, you keep any protections that the mandatory laws of your country of residence give you, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live when that law allows it.
